We carefully package every piece to ensure it arrives safely from our Edinburgh workshop to your home.

Free UK Delivery: Free standard UK delivery is included on all orders placed through our online shop (including cutting boards and all other standard shop products). We ship our standard shop items securely via Parcelforce or Royal Mail. This applies to mainland UK addresses only.

Processing Time: Standard shop items typically ship within 2–3 business days.

Furniture & Bespoke Pieces: Delivery costs for custom furniture and large bespoke commissions are not included in the standard shop pricing. These will be calculated and quoted separately based on the size, weight, and specific delivery location of the piece.
Returns & Refunds
Standard Shop Items For non-custom, standard items purchased from our online shop, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery.

The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Custom & Bespoke Orders Because bespoke items are made to your exact specifications, custom orders are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective. (Additionally, once production has begun or materials have been specifically purchased for your custom project, the order cannot be cancelled, and the deposit is non-refundable.
Damages in Transit
If your item arrives damaged from transit, please contact us at hello@szimpelwoodwork.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery. Please include clear photographs of both the damaged packaging and the damaged item so we can quickly file a claim with the courier and arrange a replacement or repair for you.
