With the goal of becoming flexible in my work, and having more time for my young family, in early 2017 I rented a small workshop in Edinburgh to embark upon a career in furniture making. I am a self-taught woodworker with a growing portfolio of original designs. I’ve always worked with furniture (my background includes jobs building and spraying household goods) and find great satisfaction in seeing my work come to life.

Today, my workshop is larger and fully equipped. I enjoy the challenge of my job, working with my hands, engaging in commissions, creating bespoke pieces for my clients, and refining my style – often influenced by the mid-century modern aesthetic. I place a heavy emphasis on the production process, considering details and materials – using solid woods as much as possible.

Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs or visit me (by appointment) in my workshop at St Margaret’s House in Edinburgh.
